Engineer Khalaf has more than twelve years cement experience and fuel, He was Fuel & Production section head at FLSmidth. As for the scientific background he is a holder of MSc in Cement Technology. Moreover his commissioning experience as he was commissioning team leader for different AFR systems, and largest hot disc,, Commissioning Manager for first coal mill in Egypt and for different coal mills in Egypt, FLSmidth & Arabian cement. Shifting to the Alternative fuel and raw material field Eng/ Khalaf was the AFR project manager for one of the biggest RDF plants in the MENA region ”The Kattameya plant” owned by HEIDELBERG Group. His experience in production and process optimization is an added value for MAK through its growth phas

More than 10 years of experience in the cement industry plants. He has excellent experience in the cement production processes including all the areas of cement plant whether KHD or FLS design ( PHC Kilns, Ball Mills, Vertical Mills for raw material, coal & cement, HOTDISC) with an excellent knowledge for the conveying systems ( Airlifts, pan conveyors, rotary conveyors, belt conveyors, peter pumps & others). His experience in FLSmidth through Leading the operation team and technicians to optimize the work procedures, operation concepts and increase their awareness to optimize the process to the most safe and efficient model with the maximum production. moreover being part of the commissioning team of NLSupervision for the assembly of AFR system with TSR of 15% including a coal vertical milling system and HOTDISK system for introducing of different types of waste fuels
